I loved this machine from the first time I saw and tried it. However, I started having problems on day 2 – the milk wouldn’t froth and it came out in spurts with a lot of water, not even filling 1/8 of the glass with milk. I took it back to Williams Sonoma and they cheerfully replaced it. It happened again to this new machine and, once again, I took it back for a replacement. (I had been in touch with Nespresso at all the junctures along the way and they replaced the milk jug and top twice.) When it happened on the third machine, I called the local Williams-Sonoma and asked if there was someone who could check out my machine. I am in the Danbury, CT area and Bill, at the local Williams-Sonoma, told me to leave it with him while I shopped and he would check it out. When I returned he told me it was frothing perfectly and then showed me how he set it up. It seems that I had not been pushing the jug connection tight enough. It has to click in. The lights had always been on and so I believed that the jug was connected correctly, but I was wrong. Not until I saw it being done and felt the connection, did I understand what I was doing wrong. Without being tightly connected it doesn’t work correctly. Now I push until I hear a click and/or push it in a second time holding the back of the machine as I push, and have been making perfect lattes. I recommend this machine highly but think the documentation should be rewritten with this little bit of information in bold letters. I have seen many reviews of this machine from people who have had the same problem and hope that they found the solution as this machine is wonderful.

Our DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima was magical for two weeks…and then something in the milk frother broke or got clogged. After numerous calls to Nespresso (advice included buying a different brand of milk), Delonghi, and the local Delonghi repair place, we ended up returning it. I understand that Nespresso customer service is supposed to be very helpful, but since this machine is made by Delonghi, they were unable to provide any technical assistance or replacement parts.
While it was working, my only complaint was that the milk did not get hot enough (the cup heater is useless, but if you run hot water into the cups, that helps).
Two stars–one for each week of delicious coffee we drank.

Since I spent a fair amount on the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima just like the title of the review says, I have really tried to convince myself I like it and kept telling myself I’m not using it correctly and/or I’m being too picky but then i read other reviews that say the same thing and i finally just admitted “I spent a bundle on a vacation I didn’t really like”. The problem for me is the heat or the lack thereof. And, I’m not even an aficionado of espresso or cappuccino…give me a reasonably decent/potent strong hot one and I’m happy. This machine just doesn’t and I’ve tried all the tricks (modifying the amount of milk, doubling the espresso, major froth, minor froth, using the steamer once before making the coffee, attaching re-attaching, etc. etc.). To me it tastes watery and lukewarm almost all the time. And I have to agree with those others, the cup warmer is pretty useless but even if it wasn’t I want the drink to be hot itself, not through the external ‘warmth’ of the cup re-heating coffee. The espresso tastes good by itself generally but still isn’t as good as some of the other Nespresso machines I’ve used at hotels. Wish I could return it. As the others say, the design is sleek; the cleaning is comparatively easy and minimal.

I saw the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima and tried a few samples of espresso with my family in the Nespresso store in Boston a month ago. I ordered it as soon as I returned from my trip. I think it produces a fantastic espresso and I like the convenience of the pods. I also own the Keurig machine and the Tassimo machine. Obviously I like the convenience of pod machines. I love the Keurig machine for regular coffee and iced coffee. The Tassimo machine can’t compete with the Keurig machine for coffee. I bought it to make mostly cappuccinos and espresso with but it can’t touch the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima. The Lattissima uses real milk not prepackaged condensed milk and the espresso the Lattissima produces is far superior to anything the Tassimo produces. Hands down the Lattissima is a far superior machine. I have no problem with the milk frother and the temp of the milk on the Lattissima machine. After reading the others comments about the temperature I have always just run hot water through the frother first and made sure my cup was at least room temperature. My model has the cup warmer on top which I think is great. It keeps the cups warm all the time. I think the espressos and cappuccinos are plenty hot and so do my kids. We’ve only had it a couple of weeks but it gets used two to three times a day, some times more. I’m having a dinner party in two weeks and looking forward to be able to offer great espresso and cappuccino after dinner. It also makes great iced lattes. At this time I have no complaints about it. We love it!

The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is not a bad machine. The coffee when it works tastes great. Nespresso service is excellent, coffee arrives usually next day.
But, getting hot milk out of if has been a challenge, particularly if you live in part of the country that gets hot (if it’s hot the milk is likely to be chilled). The best cups I get with 2% milk are generally if the milk has been out of the fridge for at least 1/2 hour, but this usually means that you need to wash the milk container to stop it getting grungy.
You can also run the cleaner button on the milk dispenser to heat up the pipes and heat a cup up with warm water before use.
I’m had mine for 6 months and mine is now not frothing the milk, the output of the milk dispenser has been reduced by 50 percent so it looks like there is a blockage, so I don’t know how to fix that.
Sad really because this has the potential to be a really great product. As is, it’s meh.

We ordered the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima from Amazon and received it a week ago. My wife and I are very happy with the machine. It is a great design, easy to use and clean, and makes great coffee. I highly recommend it. It’s high priced but much cheaper than similar machines.

the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is an excellent coffee maker that does exactly what is supposed to do. I’ve been using it for almost two months now and – honestly – I could not be happier.
It produces PERFECT cappuccino, very good latte drinks, and excellent espresso / lungo coffee drinks. That has to do with its patented froth system, as well as the Nespresso system which gives you access to 16 no less flavors of coffee, 3 of them being decaff (!).
The machine is a toy to use, since it’s a click/play system, but it’s also programmable (meaning, you can adjust the amount of coffee / milk per program for your own experience), has removable drip unit, very – VERY – easy to clean.
And as for the people from US that reviewed it and complain about the fact it does not make hot enough coffee drinks, honestly I don’t know what to tell them, other than either they have a misconception of what is a hot cup of coffee, or they were unlucky. It produces quite hot coffee.
Anyways, I really find it hard to find something negative on this system. Perhaps the water compartment could be bigger, since you get to use it so much after you experience the quality of the coffee, that you get to refill it OFTEN.

The partnership between Nespresso and Delonghi is a great one. With the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima, you can create coffee drinks just like the ones you get in Europe–intense flavor, smaller portions–and Nespresso provides a wide variety of coffee strengths to fit any taste. The temperature of the beverages are the same temperature you’ll get in Europe, which is just a little less hot than what we are accustomed to in the U.S.–that’s okay by me! You may need to buy smaller coffee cups to fit the machine–easy to find at Walmart, Target, etc. Make sure you engage the milk container properly and keep it clean and you won’t have any problems getting a good flow of hot milk into your cappuccino or latte–follow the manufacturer’s directions by using cold skim milk, or up to 2%, and you’ll get a good froth. If you are making a lungo and want cream or milk, warm the cream or milk in the microwave for 20 – 30 seconds–no different than the way it’s done in Europe. This is a wonderful, reliable machine that provides an Italian coffee experience–I highly recommend it!

OK, got my DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima in May I think. First off, this machine makes awesome espresso for a fully auto machine. Three distinct layers in the crema. Could NOT be easier to use. Took a little while to figure out how to make some pretty good milk based drinks. Realized it had a setting on the milk container to adjust foam. I like it a little less dry. Had to figure out what size cup to use with how much milk and which capsule etc. I use the ristretto (strongest) for all my caps and lattes. You keep the milk container in the fridge and just take it out to make your drink. Once a week, I take the milk container apart (total of 4 pieces)and put them all in the dishwasher. It has a way to blow steam out the “wand” to clean after each use (takes all of 2 seconds). Start to finish with a cold machine, its probably 2-3 min. to make a latte. Not the best latte I’ve ever had but not bad and certainly the trade off of ease is worth it. It puts the steamed milk in the cup first, then adds the espresso. That being opposite of what I’ve always done, I played around with doing the espresso first, didn’t come out well at all, not sure why. You do have to purchase the capsules online ONLY from Nespresso and have them shipped. Not a big deal if you do it in quantity. I personally like shipping to my door. Capsules are about .50 each. I’m no gourmet, by ANY stretch of the imagination. But I like easy and I love coffee…especially strong European coffee (I got spoiled during business trips to the Caribbean islands). I got the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima for Christmas. After reading the little getting started guide (yeah, I’m a guy that reads those) I was up and running in about 25 minutes (this includes about 15 minutes running a full container of water through the espresso side and a the frother to clean it out before consumption use.) Fill the milk carafe with milk, drop in a capsule and push the Cappuccino button! In about 30 seconds it dispensed foam then the espresso into the glass (came with the machine.) It was SO good I made 2 doubles! The foam was excellent and the coffee was very robust.
Cleaning (a pet peeve of mine from other steam frothers I’ve used) was a breeze. Hold in a button after making the cappuccino and it steam cleans the froth chute. Remove the milk canister when done and place in the refrigerator. That’s it. Easiest system I’ve used and really great tasting espresso and cappuccino.
I haven’t had my DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima for years yet so I don’t know how well it will hold up to use but there’s a year warranty and the local store (Nespresso) takes really good care of me when I need supplies.
Over all I rate the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima a winner.

Used the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima for a conference and not only did the machine produce quality espresso it did so time and time again, a must purchase!Review By D. Speer
The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is super easy to use and makes great tasting lattes. Others reported it wasn’t hot enough, but I find the drinks to be very hot. I would definitely recommend this to others.
Review By karenI absolutely love being able to make great tasting late, cappuccino and sometimes coffee at home with such ease. Our trips to Caribou or Starbucks, which used to be nearly everyday, are now few and far between. The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is easy, fast and hassle free. I do agree with the negative reviews about the less than hot temperature of the coffee drinks though. The only way I’ve found to get late and cappuccino to an acceptable temperature is to put the froth regulator on maximum because more steam goes through the milk and thus makes the overall drink temperature warmer. You are not going to get a hot drink out of this machine. And, yes, the cup warmer on the top is completely useless…it never gets hot enough to warm a cup. And none of our coffee cups or any coffee cups I can find at the store fit in the machine–the opening is extremely narrow so I have to stand there and hold the cup while coffee comes out. So why do I give 5-stars in this review? Well, it’s because I already knew all of the negatives before I purchased and still decided to buy. I’d buy it again because it’s easy, fast and makes great coffee drinks right in my own kitchen.

The paperwork/directions provided are not at all clear. Go to YouTube to learn what you need about the machine basics.
Others have mentioned that the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima does not get hot enough. That is correct. I am first putting my cup in the microwave to pre-heat.

My wife and I bought a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima a year ago. It produces THE Best Espresso outside of Rome — We Love it!
The awesome range of Coffees Nespresso has is fantastic!
The only truly ‘hard’ issue with this incredible well designed machine is choosing which coffee we prefer! We order online and Nespresso’s super-fast service delivers direct to our door; it is unbelievable how service-oriented this company is. What to say to the folks who state ‘issues’ –?!?Whine&Dine?!?– Incomprehensible! We have Zero problems on All the fabulous concoctions the Lattissima serves up; ditto other owners we know, who fell in love with Our Lattissima and promptly went home and bought their own!
Simply, they ran out of ‘excuses’ ‘to call’ just so they could sit with our family sipping the Best Tasting Espresso outside of Europe!

I am new to the coffee world and just had my first espresso in April of 09, by accident actually. But the accident happened in Italy. And as the saying goes when in Bologna do as the Bolognese do! Well when I arrived back state side I took the advice of friends and went for the best and easiest. Delonghi Nespresso Lattissima was it! I’m now up to 4 shots a day and couldn’t be happier. And because it’s less than $3 for the 4 shots my wallet is happy too. My first order took less than 24 hours before it hit my door step…Magic? Perhaps! Love, FOR SURE!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima!!!!!!!! We bought this machine because we wanted the ease of not messing with foaming the milk. It makes the most delicious latte, cappuccino, espresso!!!!! The coffee capsules are delicious! We haven’t had a bad one yet. My only suggestion would be to get your cups hot with hot water before filling with your desired beverage! Very easy to use, but there are a few days of getting the perfect hang of it. Don’t forget to get a little shaker for cinnamon or cocoa!! This is an addicting little machine. Oh, I have heard people complain about the little capsules not being recyclable, I just pop them in the sink and use a spoon to pull back the foil top and rinse them out and put them in the recycling bin…You won’t be disappointed this is an awesome little machine…We are packing ours up to take to FLORIDA this week with us…I don’t know if I can live without it!!!

My sister in law made me a cappuccino with an older Nespresso Machine and I decided to buy one. After a lot of research and reviews I ended up with a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima and really like it. I was skeptical after reading reviews, but there are some dense and lazy people out there that write reviews on lot of stuff. I spent a week when I had time trying figure the machine out. I did get the spurting, watered milk until I started using the 2% milk as instructed and had the machine set on the highest frothing level. I clean the frother after a couple cappuccinos, never let it sit dirty for more than 5 mins. I also let the hot water dispenser run a little and you can see a little milk that has backed up in there. When I store the milk container, I store it alone, not with the frother intact. I take frother off and wash it with hot soapy water and let it drain/dry on paper towel. You will not get scalding hot drink, but definitely a nice hot cappuccino. The warming plate does heat up after the machine has been on awhile, but not really worth a lot.
I gave the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima 4 stars because frothing part is a little work to keep it working properly.
I have found great cappuccino cups on Amazon and with the programing on the Delongi you can get a full cappucino. Also I bought some flavored syrup and some of the coffee Mate liquid creamers and put some in the bottom of cup first and what a fab drink. Hope this helps those of you on the fence, would recommend and buy again.

i just finished three years living in Rome and when everyone asked me what would i miss most, i said the cap and corn (that’s a cappuccino and a cornetto–croissant) which i had each morning. since i got the nespresso machine, I’m back to my cap and corn each morning. i really like the one touch cappuccino maker although i do find that i have to use two capsules for one good sized cappuccino. not a problem since there’s no mess with this machine. just pop the capsule in and then empty the tray when you’re done. i really like it and it is going to save me airfare back to Rome several times a year just for a cup of coffee!

I returned this very expensive DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima espresso machine because the coffee tasted awful. However, I was even more disappointed that [...] charged me $60.00 to return the item.
This seems very unfair.Review By tracylikespurple
I’ve had my DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima Cappuccino machine for about 4 months now. Overall, I’m really happy with the machine and use it daily. However, I bought it because I love Cappuccinos/Lattes, so it’s a little frustrating that the milk does not get hot. Whether I make a regular cup of cappuccino or a large for my travel mug, I have to microwave it before I can drink it. It is luke warm at best. This is really the only con to the machine for me, but its one with no real fix. On the Pro side, the coffee tastes great, Nespresso service and delivery is phenomenal, you can make cup after cup with this machine with no waiting in between. I would recommend the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima, but want to make sure you know that you won’t get a steaming hot cappuccino!

Have been using my new DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima for about 2 weeks and will be returning it. My primary use is milk based drinks and it’s just not hot enough. I’ve tried all the tips and tricks suggested but the bottom line is the milk coming out of the frother is only about 120°F. If you make a lungo and then add milk using the latte setting it’s not as bad, but I don’t want to be limited to 1/10th of the flavors Nespresso has to offer.
Never had any problem with the milk frothing properly like others have stated (aside from it not being hot enough). But, with 2 very small rubber seals on tubes where you constantly push and yank the milk container in and out, I could see the seal going bad very easily.
Also, this may not bother others, but I couldn’t fit ANY of my other coffee cups under this machine. Even a regular sized coffee cup is too tall while in the “espresso” configuration and too wide in the “macchiato latte” configuration without propping it and worrying about it falling off.
Nespresso pods are great, though.. the drinks actually tasted really good–just wish they were hotter! Hard to live with this flaw for a $600 machine.
Review By Robert W. Heller
It is impossible to produce a hot latte or cappuccino with the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima. I have to heat my beverage in the microwave to make it drinkable. The pods are expensive (55 cents without factoring in shipping cost) and it takes three of the boldest variety to make a twelve ounce latte that tastes like coffee. The milk frother is a little finicky and requires extra attention when attaching it to the machine to make it work properly. Also, the water reservoir is very small. At nearly $600 for this machine, I wish I’d ponied up for an automatic that uses beans rather than pods. I’d recoup the difference in the price of the machine by saving money on the coffee.
Review By S. Rose
The ease of use is outstanding. The flavor is also extremely well done. The cleanliness is great. Size is perfect and unobtrusive. Ability to change strength and amount is relatively easy within the parameters available.
My issues might be enough for me to take it back however. The volume is purely European… in that the MOST you can make is still a small cup in American terms. Nothing wrong with that at all, however, it is not what I want. Coffee range is 0.65-6.5oz. Hot water range is 1.7-13oz. Latte/cappuccino – Milk (heated/frothed) 1-6.7oz and coffee 0.65-10oz however the size of the cup which is included and I have nothing else which will fit under the fixed spout, will not hold that much. So you are basically chained to the small cup size due to the physical design of the machine. The SECOND issue is that no matter how much you preheat the cups, the coffee is relatively cold. In a cup off the shelf it is lukewarm. In a heated cup it is passable for a couple minutes, but anything longer, unfortunately is far too cool. My wife is not a big HOT coffee drinker, but even she has to put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to have a ‘normal’ cup of coffee. There are no adjustments for heat. There is a wasted ‘heating plate’ on top which is supposed to keep your cups at a warmer temperature. However, it is not useful in my opinion, unless the minuscule temp increase compared to ambient is worth the $100 more. Be careful if you try it out in the store. I did, and did not notice the temp of the coffee being cooler, but I realize now that it was a very small volume in a small paper cup. If this is how you drink coffee, you might be OK. But take down the mug your son made you in kindergarten, and you will be drinking cold coffee in no time.
The only other problem is that you must buy your coffees online/through the company. I made the mistake of ordering their ‘welcome’ pack before I tried enough of the coffees to see whether I liked the machine. I am still unsure. The flavor is great. The ease is great. However, I don’t know if the end product is what I want.
If you want the ‘traditional’ espresso/cappuccino I believe this product is exactly for you. If you want what I as an American have come to think of as coffee/latte… you might want to look elsewhere. I am seriously thinking about taking it back and looking at the Jura models, but I am open.
The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima would have been perfect if it had a couple changes. First… needs to have the ability to increase the temperature of both the coffee and milk. Second… needs to have the ability to place a larger cup directly under the spout. I would like to put my travel cup under the spout directly rather than have to make/pour/make/pour. And finally, I would like to have the ability to make the VOLUME I want. Like a 16oz triple shot latte… that is all I am really looking for.

Very happy with my DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima and in the long run will save at just 55 cents a beverage! Very easy to use and makes 4 different style coffee drinks! It’s quiet, not messy, and way less expensive then Starbucks.

Warning: This coffee is so good it will turn you off to others! We purchased a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima for our small office of 6 employees. The machine was easy to set up and use, right out of the box. The milk froth and coffee is excellent. The coffee is available in different varieties and strengths which suits all our requests. Try the sampler pack before you order to get an indication of what you like. The only thing we wish Nespresso offered is Hot chocolate pods for the machine. I’ve seen other requests for this online, so hopefully they will get the hint and add them to their website. Some people say the pods are expensive, but they range from .55 to .80 per cup. That’s still cheaper than buying out, and you get MUCH better coffee. We have not descaled yet, but I did have to reset the machine because the milk frother was acting funny. But I think it’s because someone hit the wrong button.
Review By Sleepless in PhiladelphiaBOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima to a friend.
I bought this product as a birthday gift for my husband. I have never seen him get so excited about an appliance. He was hugging me and kept saying Thank you, Thank you. He loves the whole outcome, coffee, cappuccino, etc.

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima to a friend.
I would buy it again if I had to because I think the product is GREAT! The only con is that if you don’t let the hot water run before making your latte, it ends up being a coffee on the cold side (at least the firs two cups).

I bought a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima as a Christmas present for my husband, who has a slight Starbucks addiction. I calculated (rightly) that in the long run it would save us money on the daily Starbucks run and it has also proved very useful when we have guests over for …

Please read this viewpoint if you are considering buying a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima. I bought the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima about 3 months ago, and regretfully, I really don’t think its really worth the money.
THE UPSIDES:
1. It makes really great coffee using the high quality Nespresso capsules
2. The Nespresso capsules offer a huge range of different coffee bean mixes: perfect for the coffee enthusiast or connoisseur.
3. It has the capacity to make cappuccinos which is a rare advantage. As the first review says, it is tough, relatively simple to operate and will last a while as long as you take care of it.
THE DOWNSIDES:
1. Its really badly overpriced! you buy the machine, but then you have to keep stocked up on the Nespresso controlled capsule monopoly, which is about £60 every time you buy about 150 capsules. If like me you and you family enjoy 2 or more coffees a day that reserve dwindles rather rapidly. The upside to this (yes there is one!) is that I believe the Nespresso capsule patent should be ending rather soon meaning you’ll be able to buy cheaper capsules (this is only speculation.)
2. The design is rather flimsy and not very user friendly. By this I mean the filtering process is a bit too complicated, the water filling container is cumbersome and a challenge to fill.
3. You find yourself wantingOk the cappuccino add on is great but again its flimsy and there’s no extra greatness about it. It lacks the rich shine you would maybe expect.
CONCLUSION:
I really don’t think such a machine should be so unconventional at such a high price. It feels to me as if this machine was designed for a rich coffee expert. If you are a wealthy coffee expert or you can’t go without cappuccinos, then I think this machine will satisfy your needs. If like me you are and average person who needs a new coffee machine, take a good look at cheaper Nespresso ones (who will give you equally great coffee), because like me you might find yourself wanting more than what you got for such a price.
Thanks for reading.Review By Mikeywhitto
The Delonghi EN 680 Latissima Nespresso can create a more or less perfect cup if espresso. It is completely unique with it’s patented extraction to aid the flow of water through the ground coffee. Nespresso’s specially designed coffee-filled capsules are used to give the unique taste you only get with Nespresso. A bit pricey at £300 but certainly a long term investment.
Style: The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is very stylish (see picture) and is a great add to any kitchen. The silver and black frame works very well together and the buttons make the machine very high tech when it is actually very easy to use.
Ease of Use: The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is very easy to use, just as easier or maybe even easier than other espresso makers – simply insert a capsule and the machine does all the work for you. After brewing is completed, the machine automatically ejects the capsules into a holding tank for later disposal.
Other Features: The machine’s patented IFD milk system includes a milk container for making cappuccinos or lattes. The milk container includes a unique automatic cleaning function with a simple push of a button. The entire milk container is detachable so it can easily be placed in the refrigerator.
Starter kit: The welcome kit includes an espresso cup, a latte cup, a saucer and a sample pack of Nespresso capsules.
Conclusion: Overall, the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is a very stylish, great espresso machine. The espresso’s created are top of the range and are really unique (and taste great) – a great addition to any kitchen.

The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is a very well made machine. Excellent quality and finish. But what’s more important is the espressos that this machine delivers. With a push of a button you can enjoy your favorite espresso drinks without spending $$$ at the local coffee stores. The quality of the Nepresso capsules are excellent too.
I recommend this product to anyone who’s reading this review (and the others listed here). You will not be disappointed with this espresso machine.Review By Kristy and Serge
We got our DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima as a wedding present and it is absolutely amazing. You can control the amount of hot milk and amount of coffee to make it perfect every time. Looks great on the counter top and is very easy to use and clean. The coffee is very reasonably priced versus going to a coffee shop. All the flavors are delicious and the froth it makes is perfect every time.

What a great machine and a wonderful presentation not to mention the best espresso in the world!Review By Coffee Enthusiast
I have owned another automatic espresso machine that was more than twice the price of this gem. That machine was also more than twice the size, taking up valuable counter space and was twice as noisy. The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima makes perfect coffee every time! It has 19 bars of pressure. Most others have only 15. One touch buttons for Cappuccino and a beautiful Macchiato. You can also control the amount of milk, espresso, water, etc., which the machine will store in memory for your customized drink. Nespresso customer service is wonderful for answering questions and making suggestions to fully utilize your machine. Just think of it. Enjoy your morning coffee at home; no driving to “you know where” and waiting in line!

Pros: Make aromatic & nice coffee. Easy to use & clean. Comes with nice espresso cups.
Cons: Expensive to buy Nespresso capsules, and only 1 capsule per coffee. Milk & coffee are lukewarm. Not easy to get these capsules, can only buy them in certain places or online (in bulk).
Overall: Since it only make coffee from Nespresso capsules, you need to keep buying the capsules. It won’t make coffee from any coffee beans, etc. so I think it’s quite inconvenience & expensive to get those capsules. You can only get these capsules from certain place or online. Didn’t like this coffee machine. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Pros: When it works, it makes a great cup of coffee very conveniently
Cons: Machine quality is poor as is Nespresso’s customer service.
Overall: Within 6 weeks of buying a DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima, it’s needing to go to repairs. After a painstaking hour on the phone pressing every button under the sun, the technician was baffled at why my machine was flooding. Could have saved me the time if he had just listened to my suggestion. Faulty milk valve. I finally convinced him that it had nothing to do with pressing the button quickly, or closing the water tank too fast. It can overflow you know. The experience gets better. Nespresso’s couriers don’t work outside of business hours, so for you to get the machine fixed, you’ll be expected to lug the machine on your shoulder to work, and have it sit at your unsecured desk for the next couple of days, while you wait by your mobile for a call that the couriers arrived. That would be fine if Nespresso bothered to book the courier in in the first place. So be prepared to wait at least a whole week before someone bothers arriving for your machine. I don’t know how the rest of their service is, or the quality of the machine repair because 1 week, 6 phone calls and 4 courier re-bookings later, I’m still waiting for the pick up.
Review By Fried NoodlePros: great idea, have cup of coffee with 1 button touch.
Cons: milk comes luke warm, not really drinkable, I have to microwave it before drinking. more work than I thought as I have to clean the milk jar each time as the milk doesn’t stay fresh in the milk jar. very disappointed.
Overall: I got rid of the basic model and bought the EN680 model, I am very disappointed with the coffee machine as not as user friendly as I thought and the coffee is too warm. I went to the Nespresso store and the lady shop assistant told me that the EN680 is European design to be just warm. What the hell, if I knew about it I will never buy it.
Review By Phil GrayPros: stainless steel looks good
Cons: coffee is luke warm, barely drinkable. From day 1, did not work properly. Sent away for repair. Took 2 months. Still can’t drink the luke warm coffee.
Overall: total waste of money. I have a Nespresso Le Cube. It produces fantastic coffee. Good flavor. Very hot. The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is style over substance. Just buy the cheaper Cube version!
Review By Mum of Two BoysPros: Saves us heaps of money & so quick and easy to make a cup of coffee
Cons: Nothing so far
Overall: Hubby & I bought this for each other at Xmas and LOVE this machine! So quick & easy – coffee in less than 1 min after machine is heated and as we buy a range of flavors, you can choose which one you feel like – flat, espresso or latte. Very easy to clean and really nice tasting coffee. Don’t have a bad word to say about it. Would recommend highly.

Pros: warms the cups up on top, great tasting coffee every time
Cons: none
Overall: just fill the water tank, pop in a capsule (i like the caramel flavor, they have 3 new flavors; caramel, ginger, and tangerine) milk dispenses into your cup, you can put the unused milk in the fridge. all in all love the machine very compact if you have a small bench space
Review By MaryThe DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima is a great product. One of my favorite appliances yet. So easy to use and little clean up.
